Strategy deployment is to a paper brokerage account. Orders are simulated by the broker; no real capital is committed and no real fills occur. Every backtest figure this system produces is hypothetical performance derived from historical data. It has the benefit of hindsight, was not achieved by any account, and does not represent actual trading. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations and frequently differ sharply from subsequent live outcomes.
The counts on this site describe a search process, not a portfolio. Strategies that survive the gates are, by construction, those that scored best across many thousands of trials on a limited price history — which is precisely why an out-of-sample holdout, walk-forward folds, and Sharpe deflation against a 8,000-trial budget are applied. Those controls reduce selection bias; they do not eliminate it.
Counts and thresholds shown here are read directly from the running system when a page is served, cached briefly, and are unaudited. They change as the engine runs. No representation is made that any figure has been independently verified.
